On 13th of February the province and community of Marienburg-Bussum has held an open day for people to visit the convent from10.00 to 16.00. Many people had interest and took chance for this special event and it was also broadcasted on Radio. We found this moment a kind of reunion for the people who ever got education through the mission work of the sisters in the past (School, boarding house and Nursing care). Sr. Jacqueline who is in charge for the museum and archives had arranged an exhibition room about the mission work of community in the past. It was very interesting one. The people were also allowed to visit the chapel and one gave explanation about it. Beside the open day for the convent, the sisters also held a kind of fancy fair to help the people in Malawi due to the nature disaster (water flooding).
